Quick cinnamon applesauce {video}

Did you eat a lot of applesauce when you were a kid? I did but it came from a jar or package. I still enjoy applesauce and add it to my breakfast on the regular with some rawnola, coconut yogurt and fruit.

This is a basic recipe and only takes minutes to blend and enjoy. Just soak your dates overnight and in the morning you are ready to make some quick cinnamon apple-sauce.

Quick cinnamon applesauce

Servings 1 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 organic apples
  • 3-4 dates seeds removed and soaked overnight
  • cinnamon to taste 
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • water if needed

Instructions
 

  • SOAK. Remove seeds from dates and soak in water overnight.
  • CORE. Core apples and remove skins if desired. Chop.
  • COMBINE. In a high speed blender combine all ingredients and blend to desired consistency.
  • ENJOY! Add more cinnamon on the top and enjoy. 

Notes

  • Best eaten day of preperation.
